Hey there Masset Chefs!
Here's to another quick recipe that is so easy and so quick to make that from the moment I made it, I knew it deserved its spot on the Iftar Series. Making eggs can be so easy that it might not need to be on a cuisine website, and yet so complex that the smallest trick would make it the tastiest meal you ever had. Take a look!
INGREDIENTS
8 eggs
5 sweet peppers
1 onion
1 tablespoon of 7-Herbs and Garlic
1 cup of mushrooms
1 cup of heavy milk or evaporated milk
1/2 cup of chopped bacon (beef or turkey)
salt and pepper to taste
Butter or Oil spray
PREPARATION
Dice the onions, the mushrooms and the sweet peppers
Grab a muffin pan and spray with butter or oil spray. You can also use muffin cups that you'll place on each hole of the pan
Place the diced veggies in muffin holes or cups.
Break the eggs into a large measuring cup, add the milk, salt, pepper and the spices to taste. Mix well.
Pour into the molds, and garnish with grated cheese. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 375 ° F (200 ° C).
Serve with a colorful salad or grilled vegetables. As usual, make sure to let us know how it went.
