Iftar Series - Day 27: Banana Smoothie with Dates


Hey there Masset Chefs!


I woke up this morning for Suhoor with a low energy and wondering what I would make real quick before the adhan; I was deep in my researhc for a filling "dish" when I suddenly noticed the dates next to the bananaes. Next thign you know, I am quickly gathering my ingredients here and there and let me tell you (clap clap clap) I came up with the most bomb and tasty all-natural energy drink ever! So good that I thought about sharing it right the way!


INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 bananas

  2. 5 soft dates

  3. 4 teaspoons of honey

  4. 1 and 1/2 cup of Carnation milk

  5. 1 teaspoon Chai

  6. 1 teaspoon Ginger Mix

  7. 1 teaspoon Sugar n Spice

PREPARATION

  1. Peel the bananas, cut them roughly and put in the blender along with ice cubes. You can also get frozen bananas if it makes it easier

  2. Add the dates, honey, milk, chai, ginger mix and sugar n spice

  3. Mix everything well in the blender, serve and taste!
